Future Publishing

I worked at Future Publishing for three years, first running the Knowledge vertical, which included Space.com, Livescience.com, Techlearning.com, Toptenreviews.com and a host of magazines, before becoming Audience Development Director.

In addition to achieving the highest-ever audience figures for a Future website with Livescience, Space.com became the go-to publication for stargazing buying advice, adding a brand new and significant affiliate revenue stream to the brand.

While there, I provided strategic and tactical guidance during the Black Friday period, driving high audience and affiliate conversions.

As Audience Development Director, I was tasked with managing the editorial and SEO strategy and training for the entire 1200 editorial team members, running training sessions and creating audience development playbooks for all the brands, from huge ones like Techradar, Tom's Guide, PC Gamer, Marie Claire, Ideal Home and Gamesradar to newly launched brands like Advnture and The Money Edit. I also put together the e-E-A-T strategy for the entire company.

I still works with Future ad hoc, providing Black Friday support and more.
