Evan worked at Future Publishing for three years, first running Space.com, Livescience.com, Techlearning.com, Toptenreviews.com and a host of magazines before becoming Audience Development Director.

In addition to achieving the highest-ever audience figures for a Future website with Livescience, Space.com became the go-to publication for stargazing buying advice, adding a brand new affiliate revenue stream to the brand.

While there, Evan was also instrumental in providing strategic and tactical guidance during the Black Friday period to achieve high audience and affiliate conversions.

As Audience Development Director, Evan was tasked with putting together the editorial and SEO training for the entire 1200 editorial team members, running training sessions and creating audience development playbooks for all the brands from huge ones like Techradar, Tom’s Guide, PC Gamer, Marie Claire, Ideal Home and Gamesradar to newly launched brands like Advnture and The Money Edit. He also put together the E-A-T strategy for the company.

Platia still works with Future ad hoc, providing Black Friday support and more.
